Overview

  • Our Kollam project has been operating since November 2017 to recover plastic from fisheries and reuse it.
  • Our project employees 26 local women who would otherwise be unemployed, many of whom had husbands who died in the tsunami of 2004.
  • We measure and offset our carbon footprint from the extra weight of waste brought to land by boats and of the machinery and transport required in the project.
